12th May 2003 Windsurfing: Tarifa Wind Direction: E - Levante Wind Stength: 6-7, gusting 8 Surf / Sea State: Surprisingly flat Air Temperature: 24 Sea Temperature: 17 Weather: Sol & sandblasting Max Speed: Distance Covered: In a word..MAD! Started off with the 4.7 but way overpowered. Changed down to the 4.2, very snatchy and not ideal with a 103l board. Tried Andy¥s hired 85l Fanatic wave board, like it very much. Meanwhile my Axxis was bouncing all over the place, jarring my back, and the 4.2 couldn¥t cope with the vicious lulls. Fun in the ¥survival¥ sense. |
